Soraya Post
is head of the anti-racist and pro-feminist Swedish party, the Feminist
Initiative. She was elected to the European Parliament in 2014. She is also a
member, in the European Parliament, of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists
and Democrats, S & D group, coordinator of the group at the Subcommittee on
Human Rights (DROI) and its spokesperson on Roma and human rights issues.

Before being elected MEP, she worked as a human rights strategist
in the Västra Götaland region of Sweden. She has been a human rights activist
all her life, focusing more specifically on empowering Roma women and the
self-determination of Roma society.
