the Jasmine bush gives its scent...
and again, we are here, in front of the clock...
again, girl, without 'why,' my hand holds yours...
The seagulls flew from the dock and the sea is quiet with no sound.
This is Jaffa, girl, this is Jaffa.
That penetrates to the blood like a wine.



On Friday May 31st, at 18:00 we invite all of you to walk with us through the magical and romantic corners of the Old City of Jaffa. We will hear stories and tales from its glorious history: Jonah the prophet; the Greek legend of the women of Jaffa, Queen Cassiopeia and her daughter Andromeda, more beautiful than the mermaids; Napoleon Bonaparte and the Siege of Jaffa, and the legend of Abu Nabut.

We will talk about the "Grand Zone" and the entertainment culture of the sixties. We will stroll through enchanting alleys, galleries, the floating orange tree and other wonderful places, some of which are hidden. During our walk in Jaffa we will hear about the special cuisine and sing beautiful Jaffa songs. Get ready to fall in love in one of the oldest port cities in the world!

On June 21, 1964 Jacques Lacan founded his School of Psychoanalysis with the aim of assuring the formation of psychoanalysts, the transmission of psychoanalysis, and the re-conquering of the Freudian Field. The New Lacanian School (NLS), created in 2003 by Jacques-Alain Miller, is one of seven Schools founded within the framework of the World Association of Psychoanalysis (WAP). The NLS is a member of the EuroFederation of Psychoanalysis (EFP) that regroups the four European Schools of psychoanalysis oriented by Freud and Lacan’s teachings.
