Two New Analysts of the School

COMMUNIQUE

We have just heard from the president of the ECF of the nomination of two new Analysts of the School (AS), Marie-Hélène BLANCARD and Bernard PORCHERET.

The Executive Committee of the NLS welcomes these news and addresses to both colleagues their warm congratulations.

Jean-Daniel Matet also announced that the ECF Study-Days, to be held in Paris on 6th and 7th October on the politics of psychoanalysis (Autism and psychoanalysis), will give us the opportunity to hear their first testimony, expected as a teaching for the School.

On June 21, 1964 Jacques Lacan founded his School of Psychoanalysis with the aim of assuring the formation of psychoanalysts, the transmission of psychoanalysis, and the re-conquering of the Freudian Field. The New Lacanian School (NLS), created in 2003 by Jacques-Alain Miller, is one of seven Schools founded within the framework of the World Association of Psychoanalysis (WAP). The NLS is a member of the EuroFederation of Psychoanalysis (EFP) that regroups the four European Schools of psychoanalysis oriented by Freud and Lacan’s teachings.
