Note what consists and de-consists of the speaking body immersed in the contemporary discourses.
The symbolic order no longer commanding the real, we strive to give consistency to the imaginary body. The body is exhibited.
When
the imaginary unification fails, the initial fragmentation of the body
returns. How do we enjoy when the spare part separated from the whole no
serves to any purpose? How, from its dysfunction, does it achieve its
eminent function? How do the bodies find their density, their texture,
their being taken up in ek-sistence?
What
solutions to the impasse of being speaking does each epoque try to
invent? Which symptoms do these attempts produce? Give us a sketch of
these fragmented bodies, magnified, made hip, extended, augmented. The
modern experience of tattoos, like prostheses, gadgets (lathouses),
accessories that have become indispensable. Like sublime
travesties/transvesticisms, isolated modules of knowledge, eminent
nonsense, stammerings, mumbles or fading of meaning, which make an
apparatus…
Will we find some wooden leg around which a body can form to give it a function?
Put
up some spare parts, removed from our systems: a bit of an all that no
longer exists, or is included in the out of meaning, a sublimated piece
on a stepladder, re-employed in the service of tradition, elevated to
the dignity of the signifier or patched together for a new usage?

L’ordre symbolique ne commande plus au réel, on s’efforce de donner consistance au corps imaginaire. Le corps est exhibé…
Quand
l’unification imaginaire défaille, c’est le morcellement initial du
corps qui rapplique. Comment jouit-on de ce que la pièce détachée de son
tout ne sert plus à rien ? Comment, de dysfonctionner, atteint-elle une
fonction éminente ? Comment les corps trouvent-ils leur densité, leur
texture, leur prise dans l’ek-sistence?
Quelles
solutions à l'impasse d'être parlant chaque époque tente-t-elle
d’inventer ? Quels symptômes ces tentatives produisent-elles ?
Donnez-nous un aperçu de ces corps morcelés, magnifiés, branchés,
prolongés, augmentés, par l’expérience moderne des tatouages, des
prothèses, des lathouses, accessoires devenus indispensables,
travestissements sublimes, modules de savoir isolé, balivernes
éminentes, balbutiements, bredouillis ou évanouissements du sens qui
font appareillage…
Trouverons-nous quelque jambe de bois autour de laquelle se former un corps pour lui donner une fonction ?

quelques pièces détachées, prélevées sur nos systèmes : bout d’un tout
qui n’existe plus ou figure du hors-sens, pièce sublimée sur un
escabeau, réemployée au service de la tradition, élevée à la dignité du
